Performance Management and Pay
FMP has more than 11 years of experience in assisting Federal agencies to change their performance management and associated rewards systems. We understand traditional Federal HR systems, including classification, performance management, pay and awards. We also have the expertise gained from hands-on work in designing, developing, and evaluating results-oriented performance management and performance-based pay. For example, we worked with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), to design and implement a new performance management and pay system including broad pay-bands, performance-based pay, and a strategic alignment; and we worked with several other excepted agencies and Personnel Demonstration Projects in design, implementation, and evaluation of alternative performance management and pay systems. In short, we have hands-on experience with the practical, operational application of performance management and pay principles in Federal agencies.
