Strategic and Business Planning

FMP provides Strategic Business Planning services to Federal agencies seeking to better align their organization with their core mission.  Our consultants assist agency leaders to clarify or validate their agency mission, identify organizational goals that fully align with this mission, and identify key metrics for success.  We work closely with our clients to develop a detailed roadmap for achieving organizational excellence.   This roadmap is a concrete, practical plan to enable a broad range of organizational, human capital, technology, and process improvements that address key agency challenges and foster new levels of superior performance.  FMP has provided Strategic Business Planning services to a broad range of Federal agencies, including the US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Postal Regulatory Commission, and the UN World Food Programme.

Specific consulting services provided by FMP include:

• Developing or validating agency mission statements
• Facilitating development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and organizational metrics
• Conducting a high level evaluation of agency performance against KPIs, and identifying key gaps
• Developing an agency strategic plan that identifies the agency mission, goals, KPIs, performance gaps, and a roadmap for addressing key agency challenge
