Founded 1991, FMP is strategic consulting firm with expertise in the delivery of strategic human capital and organizational improvement solutions to Federal agencies.  As a private small business dedicated to public service, our mission is to help the Federal government become more responsive, efficient and effective—to help agencies provide better value to the citizens of our country.

• Partnership: At FMP, partnership is more than a buzzword; it is integral to our approach to business – and thus reflected in our name, Federal Management Partners.  We leverage our deep knowledge of the Federal environment, but don’t pretend to know more than our clients about their problems.  We take on our clients’ challenges as our own, invest the time necessary to truly understand their needs, and work collaboratively with agency personnel to develop solutions that drive transformation. 
• Flexibility: Flexibility is also core to the FMP culture.  We don’t try to impose textbook solutions that fail to address the special circumstances of our clients.  Although we pride ourselves on taking a consistent, best-practices approach to client problems, we work hard to tailor our methodologies and solutions to the unique environment of Federal agencies.  Moreover, we don’t mind when the customer changes direction or accelerates a deadline; after all, many of us have served in the Federal government in senior positions, and we understand the pressures under which agencies operate.
• Client Service: FMP is committed to a culture of superior client service.  If the client is not delighted with our services, then the job is not finished.  As a result, much of our business comes from repeat customers; we have been working with many of our Federal clients for a decade or more. When on those rare occasions we encounter problems, we work hard to overcome these challenges and, most importantly, to learn from them.  FMP does not sit on its laurels; we are always striving to improve.

FMP enjoys an extensive client footprint across the Federal government.  Over our 15 year existence, we have worked with virtually every executive department and independent agency.  We have sustained many of these client relationships for a decade or more.  Although we are closely tied to the CHCOs and other senior leaders within the Federal human capital community, we also work directly for business unit leaders who view human capital as an important fulcrum point for boosting organizational performance.
