April Jones Tate, Consultant

April Jones Tate joined Federal Management Partners, Inc. in 2009.  Her past experiences include independent consulting for a number of colleges within the Pennsylvania State University as well as the implementation and management of developmental assessment centers. Her previous consulting projects have revolved around competency modeling, selection system design, the development and implementation of performance management systems, and survey and scale development.   

Dr. Jones Tate earned her PhD in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009.  She has presented research on diversity, leadership, citizenship, work-life balance, policy, and customer service at the annual conferences of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology as well as the Academy of Management.
