Demetrius Wilson, Consultant
Demetrius Wilson has 11 years of expertise and experience in “Lean” process improvement methodologies, staffing requirements determination, strategic planning, outsourcing program management, project management, group facilitation, performance management, and organizational leadership. Prior to joining FMP, Mr. Wilson was a United States Air Force Manpower and Personnel Officer where held several key leadership and advisory positions including Chief of Manpower and Organization for one of the Air Force’s largest wings serving over 7000 assigned personnel. He also served as a Military Personnel Flight Commander and Deputy Mission Support Squadron Commander overseeing programs covering military and civilian personnel management, education services, family support services, and career assistance services in support of the Joint Intelligence Training and Fire Protection Training missions at Goodfellow AFB, TX . Mr. Wilson was recognized as the 2003 Air Mobility Command Base Level Manpower and Organization Junior Officer of the Year and led his team to recognition as the Air Force Large Manpower and Organization Office of the Year in 2002. Since joining FMP, he has worked with the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) to produce their strategic human capital plan and streamline their Joint Manning Document request and document flow processes.
Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC and a Masters of Science in Management with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Troy State University. He is also a graduate of the United States Air Force Squadron Officer School.
