Erin Baillie, Consultant

Ms. Baillie has eight years of diverse Human Resources Management experience, including a proven ability to manage projects to achieve goals and a demonstrated talent for identifying and solving problems. She has a Masters degree in Industrial Relations and brings a unique private sector perspective to our clients. Ms. Baillie is skilled in project management, conducting fact-finding interviews, focus group facilitation, and analyzing and evaluating qualitative and quantitative data. Her expertise and knowledge includes human capital strategic planning, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, labor relations and compensation design.

Prior to joining FMP, Ms. Baillie worked as an analyst in Executive Compensation Design and as a HR Generalist for two of Canada’s leading private sector companies in the field of Human Resources -- the Royal Bank of Canada and Bombardier Aerospace. She also worked as an Employee Relations Specialist for an airline where she was the HR front line point of contact for over 800 employees, supervisors, and managers.

As a consultant at FMP, Ms. Baillie is currently the project manager overseeing a series of strategic human capital initiatives for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to position the agency as an “employer of choice”. She is also currently managing a project to identify strategic solutions for employee compensation, performance management and employee development for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. In addition, she has recently begun work with the Office of Personnel Management to provide an overview of the best practices used by large employers to position employee benefits as a tool for recruitment and retention.

Since joining FMP, Ms. Baillie has worked with both small and large agencies. Her clients have included: the Department of Defense, the Office of Personnel Management, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Federal Aviation Administration, the United States International Trade Commission, the Public Defender Service for District of Columbia, the United States Institute for Peace, and the Appalachian Regional Commission.
