Gabrielle Martin, Consultant
Ms. Martin joined FMP in 2009
after more than seven years in the private
sector, most recently with Rolls-Royce, where
she operated in a variety of Human Resources and
legal roles supporting both the Civil Aerospace
and the Naval Marine businesses. Ms. Martin
brings expertise in global policy, international
relations, recruiting and hiring practices,
developing and implementing HR programs, and
delivering training sessions. Ms. Martin also
brings a global perspective from living and
working in the United Kingdom for over three years.
In addition to her human
resource management capabilities, Ms Martin
brings expertise in labor relations, legal
compliance and negotiations, from her experience
as a labor and employment attorney. In this
capacity, she advised
on a variety of labor and employment issues,
including separations and reductions-in-force,
Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, WARN, FCPA, HIPAA
and workplace violence legislation. She also
brings significant experience working with and
negotiating with unions, specifically the United
Auto Workers (UAW), International Association of
Machinists (IAM) and Unite (Britain’s largest
union).
Currently, Ms. Martin is working on several
projects with the National Science Foundation,
the Federal Aviation Administration
and the Department of Transportation.
