Melissa Matthews, Consultant
Ms. Melissa Matthews has almost 20 years of experience managing and conducting management and engineering studies for the federal government as well as the private sector. She has a strong background in organizational and workforce analysis, work measurement, and business process improvement.
Ms. Matthews is currently managing an organizational assessment project for the Office of Workforce Development at the FAA, developing a competency-based strategic workforce plan for the Internal Revenue Service, and analyzing workforce data for the National Science Foundation. While at FMP, she has managed benchmarking studies for the Office of Comptroller of the Currency and conducted a workforce analysis for the White House Communications Agency. At Systems Flow, Inc., Ms. Matthews served as a project manager for complex studies involving the development of staffing standards, the definition of work requirements, the establishment of streamlined organizations, the identification of productivity enhancements, the assessment of programs, analysis of work flow, and the performance of OMB A-76 cost comparison studies.
Ms. Matthews earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Geneva College
