Sherean E. Miller, Consultant
Sherean Miller joined FMP in 2000, following consecutive research positions with The Pennsylvania State University and George Mason University. Ms. Miller earned a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and provides consulting services in the areas of human resource management and organizational assessment and development.
For the past several years she has worked closely with a variety of Federal Departments and Agencies to help implement various human capital initiatives from the President’s Management Agenda. She has also worked on many projects that have involved survey design and analysis, competency validation and analysis, career development and training.
Ms. Miller has substantial experience in helping organizations design, develop and evaluate performance management systems. She has worked with the US Access Board to design and implement a performance management and awards system and has developed and implemented a contribution-based appraisal and pay-banding HR demonstration project for the Office of Naval Research. She has also helped agencies evaluate their performance management culture, cascade individual performance plans to strategic goals of the organization, as well as assist managers with writing measurable, outcome-based objectives to align their individual performance plans with their respective agency’s strategic objectives.
